Jasmine Waye
Veteran Benefits Specialist
Jasmine’s passion for serving Veterans runs deep, shaped by a lifetime surrounded by military service. Her father, a former Army Military Police officer, and her uncles, both Army retirees, helped instill a strong sense of duty and respect for those who serve. After being referred to a role supporting the TAP program at Fort Stewart, Jasmine discovered firsthand the powerful impact of helping transitioning service members understand their VA benefits—and she’s been committed to that mission ever since.
She comes from a family deeply rooted in Veteran advocacy. Her father now works as a Transition Counselor at Fort Stewart, while her mother leads a justice-involved Veteran treatment program. Their shared dedication inspires Jasmine’s continued service within the military community.
Since 2021, Jasmine has focused on helping Veterans start strong in civilian life by ensuring they have access to the knowledge and support they need.
At home, she shares life with her beloved four-legged companion, Onyx—a loyal dog with a tail that clears coffee tables and a heart that’s just as big as hers.
